Surveys Sent! Get your Black Friday Addons~!

Hi Everyone!

I wanted to confirm that the surveys have been sent out through BackerKit. The majority of you have already filled them out, purchased addons and sent them in. This is a reminder for those who have not yet had a chance to fill in their surveys~!

If you can't find your survey in your inbox, send me a private message here on Kickstarter and I will reply back with your a direct link to your own survey. 

I started packing parcels over the weekend and expect to send orders out no later than mid next week.

Reminder: All addons attached to the campaign have been reduced in price from my shop as part of a BLACK FRIDAY special. The best time of year to shop~!

4 Designs Arrived + 1 Design Damaged + New Design Unlocked + Total Rollercoaster Ride!!!

Hello everyone,

Woke up to a rollercoaster of emotions in our hat journey today. I had to send you all a quick update to keep you involved and informed.

PRODUCTION: First 4 Designs

As of last Monday, all hats were completed and ready for shipping. 

Due to the size of the shipment (a total of 122 kg of hats) the order had to be sent out in a total of 6 cartons and the factory decided to ship 3 in one shipment and 3 in another.

Today the Batsy, Lion, Artemis and 30 of the Stitch hats have arrived to me. I have yet to open the boxes and quality check the products, but they are safe in my home.

TRAGEDY: 1  Design Damaged

This morning I woke up to the following email:-

"Hi Gilles,

Good day.

There is a thing:

Our warehouse was flooded yesterday. :( I checked with all those beanies, there are only 42pcs purple luna beanies are available. Our plan is remaking the other 48pcs, but the threads factory don't have stock of purple thread now."

I have asked on an ETA of when the thread will be available but sadly there is no saying. This means that we have a limited amount of Luna hats available during the surveys. I am immensely upset and stressed over this, as I know many of you specifically wanted the Luna Hat. Unfortunately after plenty of back and forth with my manufacturer this morning, there is little else I can do but accept the situation.

Thankfully the remaining Stitch hats were safe and sound, and the final batches will be sent out to me on Monday, expected to arrive by the end of next week.

SURPRISE: New Design Unlocked

However, there is some positive news. I had wanted to surprise you all by self funding the final hat that was not unlocked through the campaign. The Mint Cubbie Hat will also be available for selection when choosing your hats on the survey.

SURVEYS

Due to this situation, I am going to have to change my survey plan and use BackerKit. This will allow me to put a limit on the total number of Luna hats that can be chosen. It will also mean that the Luna hat will be a first come first served basis. You will receive your survey towards the end of next week.

Once again, I do apologise for the inconvenience but this is the very best I can do with the current situation.

Hi everyone~!

I hope this update finds you all safe and well.

Many have been asking for some news regards the hats, and as previously mentioned, production is still underway during this time. There have been a few days of holidays in China during the beginning of this month, but we are still on track.

I have been sent some production photos which I have attached below for all of you to see.

I will be working on surveys requesting which hats you would like to choose as well as your shipping addresses, and sending them out sometime next week.

KICKSTARTER PAYMENTS + PRODUCTION + LABEL + WASHING INSTRUCTIONS + SURVEYS

Hello everyone!

I hope this update finds you well. I'm sorry I am a bit late sending out this update. I have been working closely with our manufacturer to ensure the production process goes as smoothly as possible. 

Here are some updates for you all.

KICKSTARTER PAYMENTS

Kickstarter has been experiencing a high volume of work over the last few months and the transfer of payments has been a slow compared to my previous campaigns. They have now said I should receive the funds by the end of this week.

PRODUCTION

Production for our BFF Hats should start at the end of this week once the Kickstarter Funds are successfully transferred over. Manufacturing should take no longer than 30 days, so I should have the hats ready to ship out to you by the end of October.

LABEL + WASHING INSTRUCTIONS

Although the campaign did not meet all the stretch goals, I have decided to self fund a label inside of each hat with my logo character (Cubbie) as well as washing instructions. I think these will be a great addition and will help you keep your new BFF Hat in top condition.

SURVEYS

For those worried about not receiving a survey, they have NOT been sent out yet. I will be using Kickstarter Surveys for this campaign and am waiting for production to be completed before sending them out, I anticipate this will be in about 25 days time. This will ensure your address details are current and up to date.
